Yay for babies

We bought our first baby-related items this weekend. We went to Mervyns on Friday night. They are going out of business in case you are not aware. We bought a couple of cute outfits for Claire.
Then Saturday we bought this:

It doesn't look exactly like this. It's a lighter wood, and it has a railing around the shorter side to keep the baby on the table. But I am really excited. We found it on Craigslist for $45. (The above picture I borrowed from a major retailer- $300 for this one.) I've been looking for this specific type of changing table/ dresser for a while. They pop up on Craigslist every now and then, but go very very quickly. This one was out in Tooele- about 30 miles away- so it sat for a few days. It was actually a nice trip. We hadn't been to Tooele before. We could definitely live there. It's half rural, half suburban. It's very close to what our ideal town would be. Close to a big city, good retail options, quiet. It was a lot of fun. And, now we have one piece of baby furniture taken care of. We still need the contoured changing pad to go on top of the dresser, in case you are wondering.

Otherwise, we are just prepping for our trip this week. Everyone send good vibes for good driving weather. I'm stressing about it and trying not to. Just repeat after me: It will all get done, and what doesn't, didn't matter. Ok.
