Ouch

So, I fell down yesterday, at work. It had snowed the day before, and whoever clears our sidewalks, doesn't do a very good job. There is usually a crust of snow, that if the weather is right, turns into ice. So yesterday I got to work, and I went to get the mail. I have everything in my hands. I hadn't even gone inside yet (because if I go in, I do NOT want to go back out. It has been in the 20s for highs for most of the last 2 weeks.) Anyway, so I have my purse, my bag, my lunch, and the mail, all in my arms. I turn around and BAM! Down I go. Everything flies away. I fell on the left side of my body. Luckily, no visible bruises, no marks on my clothes. No one saw me, except the guy driving down the street, who probably laughed hysterically. I pick myself up, brush the snow off and go inside. My left arm was numb most of the morning, and today, it aches. My back aches, my arm aches, my hips ache, and I think I am getting a cold. Ugh. Winter sucks. I am slightly tired of all this snow. Just the consequences of it- the shoveling constantly, the scraping of cars every morning, the ICY wind (it just goes through you!), the ice everywhere. I just want a little warmth in my life. Is that so much to ask?

You should just pack up the dogs and husband and move out to Myrtle Beach. We are staying in the extremely nice mid 60s all week. I actually went running in shorts yesterday. The job market is complete trash (much like in Salt Lake)but its much cheaper to live here. Heck, I'll even put up a new pot rack for ya.
