Life gets crazy sometimes

Now has been one of those times. All last week I was dealing with the company picnic, which was very fun, though a lot of work, and then this week has been non-stop with other crap at work. In a few hours, I will be getting on a plane for Missouri. For those of you keeping track, this is the third time I have gone to Missouri this summer, all for weddings. It's fun, but tiring too.

I discovered something interesting this morning. I am currently tied with my "record high weight", the weight that usually sends me to the gym more frequently, but even the last time I weighed this much, when I would lay flat, my stomach would flatten out. But not today. This morning I noticed a little puff at the bottom of my abdomen. Just to be sure, I went to the bathroom, then laid back down, and it didn't go away. Finally there is some sort of outward sign that there is a baby in there! (yes I've seen it on the ultrasound and heard it's little heartbeat, but I haven't felt it yet.) Alann says that I don't look fat anymore, I am starting to look pregnant instead. (Isn't he sweet?) My tummy definitely seems to stick out more to me. My clothes all agree. If my pants weren't low-riders by design, I wouldn't be able to wear any of them. (So Teene, if you are going to send me those clothes, you might want to get on it. I don't know how much longer I will fit in "normal" clothes.)
Maybe I will have some time this weekend to post some more.

Oh yeah, I umm...can't find any of those clothes. I think they were donated to charity already (which is surprising because you know how long stuff sits around our house). But I will do a much more thorough search this weekend! Have fun in MO and be safe! Love you bunches!

Um.. I don't think i ever said you looked fat at all. I think the comment was that the ladies at work were right and that it is starting to get noticable that you are pregnant

Alann . . . what a jerk. ;) Anyway, you are starting to look pregnant, but not as much as you will in another month! Anyway, that is exciting that you can feel that little bump. Try laying down flat on your stomach. It feels weird, like you're laying on a ball. Anyway, hope your latest trip to MO went well. I will email you our flight info for Saturday. Talk to you soon!
