What's been going on?

Just chilling

Had to make cupcakes after reading "if you give a cat a cupcake". She is helping frost.

Alex likes to eat.

Good helper.

Playing blocks

Or the harmonica.

Mom and Dad, together for once.

"Alex smash Daddy! Rawr!"

Our first art project. I was quite impressed. It is now hanging on the fridge a la "If you give a mouse a cookie". She ran over and showed it to dad and hung it on the fridge as soon as he got home.

"hand!"

"I take pictures? Um, no."

My favorite is Alex "What's going on up there? I want to play!"

This is how Alex feels about snow.

This is what Claire does- eats snow and helps Dad shovel.

Mom and son. I couldn't find his hat, so he is sporting my Verite hat.

I'm not doing anything.

laugh and crawl. (Ignore the spot on his butt. He sat on his banana at breakfast.)

Dad has created ice cream monsters.

helping bake cookies.
So there you have it folks. That's what's been going on around our house lately. I've been crafting my butt of trying to get things done. The other day, Claire asked for a robot shirt like brothers. I appliqued a robot to a shirt she never wore. She is quite enamored of it. I also made her a shirt that says "look out I'm 2". I'll post photos later. I also altered some of Alex's onesies. They were the cutest little short sleeve polos. But it's too cold for just short sleeves, and making him wear two onesies seems a little strange. So I cut off the bottom half and made them into shirts. I am quite proud of how they turned out. I also had to alter another onesie because all the crotch snaps popped off. I guess that's why it was on clearance? So it's a shirt now too. I've expanded his wardrobe because now he can wear a long sleeve onesie under his new shirts. I'm also working on a messenger bag and laptop sleeve for my new laptop. I'm going to CA and AZ in March. I need something to carry my lappy in and diapers and such for the plane. I'm excited. I hope it turns out as well as I want. And I'm working on some boot warmer covers for Alann's poor feet. And skirts for me and some other random projects, not to mention the business. So yea, busy busy here. Life's been pretty good though.

I love all the pictures! Alex is getting so big. Looks like you guys have been having fun around the house. Good thing since the snow looks pretty miserable there too. Good luck with all your sewing projects! Can't wait to see how they turn out.
